Phecomorphic glaucoma: Its condition in which intraocular pressure(IOP) rises above normal due to swollen lens and raising IOP due to secondary narrowing of AC angle. Symptoms: Headache Redness,Reduced or no vision Signs: ciliary congestion Shallow AC Raised IOP Decreased or loss of Vision which is permanent if not treated timely. Treatment:Choice of treatment is Surgical removal of cataract and IoL implantation. Before it reduce IOP with Mannitol I.V. Oral acetazoleamide.
